We are a team of American citizens concerned about the perversion of Rule of Law in America. Rule of Law has been supplanted by and twisted into Rule By Law–if there isn’t a law to oppress those guilty of nothing more than free speech, some jurisdictions in the US justice system will make something up.  The goal is to make America little more like a mediocre has-been, a two-class country where ‘might makes right’ and fear creates compliance to oppressive and capricious “regulations.”  This is the antithesis of the country created by the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, a country in which all citizens are equal under the law regardless of how the look, what they earn, who they know, or what they think.  Your American POW bracelet is a declaration of liberty, a statement defying the insidious narrative that patriotic Americans are “domestic terrorists” deserving of hard time in prison.  That perverse narrative is not merely false but destructive and divisive, striking at the heart of what made this country the envy of the world.  The vision of the team behind AmericanPOWS.com is that the airports, grocery stores, and restaurants across America are filled with POW bracelets.  This tells those in power that Americans do not support any judge, prosecutor, FBI agent, congressman or Senator that agrees or remains silent regarding this corrosion of our justice system.  The arc of history always bends towards freedom.  If you are on the side of tyranny, you are on the wrong side.   Inspired by the Vietnam war, POW bracelets were points of light during a dark time. Not all Americans bought or wore them, but everyone was aware of them and they peacefully placed pressure on Washington to withdraw from the cost and carnage of a pointless war. We are not a non-profit 501c3 because there is a significant delay involved in approval through the IRS. The goal is to raise awareness and we are spending money to do just that. We plan on publishing our financials for total transparency
