Geoffrey Sills
Geoffrey Sills was born in April of 1991 in Virginia to a strong Christian family. He excelled in many areas, but art was his passion. Showing great aptitude, Geoff was accepted into the highly competitive Savanah School of Art and Design in 2009. After graduating with a BA in Visual Effects in 2013, Geoff jumped into his chosen career as a 3D animator.
He settled in MechanicsvilleVA and skills landed himgigs with military contractors to animate in 3 dimensions military equipment and craft simulations for American soldiers. He did very well.
One of Geoff’s hobbies was studying the bible. His favorite verse is Philippians 4:13 (I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me). Geoff always had a heart for the vulnerable, so he adopted a rescue pup from the shelter and named her Bella.Just before the J6 event, he had helped a disabled veteran move into a new home.
Geoff loved his country and sat with his family as the evening of November 3 turning into November 4. Trump was comfortably ahead, but then the six key states stopped counting all at the same time and then resumed hours later, the lead was Bidens. When many commented on this they were censored, shut down, and labeled “election deniers.” Even though Attorney General Barr said “there is no evidence of any election fraud,” he admitted later he didn’t bother to investigate. This infuriated Geoff so when Trump called patriots to DC to let their disapproval “peacefully and patriotically” be known on January 6, Geoff responded!
Geoff was active on social media and there were reports that Antifa would show up with tear gas and whatever else was necessary to make something peaceful turn violent. So, Geoff brought a gas mask and protective gear. This was part of the case against him as the indictment read “Wearing a black “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) hat, a distinctive striped shirt, black goggles, and a black gas mask”All the while, Geoff was filming the events and posting them to the app Instagram under his username @geoff_geoff.
On June 18, 2021, the FBI stormed his homewith a SWAT team at 6AM. The FBI presented a blank search warrant and searched every inch of his home and even brought a search robot to search underneath his family’s home. Why bother with the constitution when you can simply label an American citizen a “domestic terrorist” and strip them of all their rights? They arrested Geoff as an “insurrectionist.” The FBI was none too happy to do just that. Geoff lost his contract with the defense contractor immediately.
Geoff was placed in theNorthern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Va., and contracted MRSA, an antibiotic-resistant staph infection that will stay with him for life.
The following week at his bond hearing, the testifying FBI agent confirmed that Geoff had no association with any of the organized groups who were involved in stirring up trouble during the event. Despite praise from the judge for Geoff having a 100% clean record, he was still denied bail.
On 10/4/21 he entered a plea of Not Guilty. So, the DOJ threw another count on top of his four indictments and on 12/17/21 he pled Not Guilty once again.
Judge Trevor McFadden heard Geoffrey’s case on 8/23/22, fourteen months after his arrest. He did not qualify as an American citizen for a speedy trial because the Patriot Act enables anyone the DOJ labels as a “Domestic Terrorist” to be stripped of all constitutional rights. Most Republicans in Congress support this evil.
The DOJ recommended to the Court “96 months’ incarceration for his conviction of violating 18 U.S.C. §§ 111(a) and (b), 2111, and 1512(c)(2), and 2. One 108-month sentence properly reflects the sentencing considerations set forth in 18 U.S.C. § 3553(a)” claiming that Geoff joined the crowd illegally gathering on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol grounds at approximately 2:13 p.m. (Is being on Capitol grounds illegal? Asking for a friend) The DOJ went on to describe “Geoff participated in the continuous assault on officers defending the West Front and at the Lower West Terrace tunnel at the U.S. Capitol. Geoff threw several pole-like objects at the officers as they retreated from the West Front, and then entered the Lower West Terrace tunnel, where he -pointed a flashing strobe light at the police line, stole a department-issued baton from a Metropolitan Police Department officer, and used the extended baton to repeatedly strike at multiple officers on the police line.”
The part the DOJ leaves out is the incitement in the form of tear gas and beating from the Capitol Police. The opening of the Capitol doors and invitation in by the Police and then, according to Congressmen Higgins, the leading of the protestors by Trump uniformed FBI officers inside the Capitol. Not to mention the incitementof Fed informants such as Ray Epps which the FBI refuses to confirm or deny.
While Geoff found this recommendation and his prior 14 months of incarceration unjust, he knew as a believer, he had to confess his own sin. “I’m ashamed and embarrassed that we’re here today,” Geoff told the judge. “My actions were out of line, outrageous and unacceptable.” He apologized to the Capitol Police and the D.C. police “for the stress I caused with my actions.” He said he lost his profession, his right to vote and to own a firearm. “None of these losses,” Geoff said, “is as heavy as the stain I now carry on my character.” Judge McFadden responded, “I have a hard time thinking back to a defendant’s statement that was as eloquent in remorse. … You said you deserved to be behind bars; I’ve never heard a defendant say that.” He said he sentenced a defendant with similar actions to 60 months because of his lack of remorse. The Judge found Geoffrey guilty as to count 13, 15 and 34 of the 5th Superseding Indictment. On 3/21/23, Geoff was sentenced to 52 months of incarceration and 36 months of probation. Geoff was also ordered to pay special assessments which total $300 and $200 restitution.
None of the Antifa/BLM rioters served any time for burning buildings, throwing bricks that caused brain damage to police officers or the $2B in property damage they caused during their “summer of love.”
Geoff asks that you pray to him, contribute to his fund for extras like protein bars, and write to him.
